I'm Viviana Vazquez, but you can just call me V! I'm a first generation womxn in STEM who didn't have many resources. I lacked any information about becoming a womxn in STEM, part of that is attributed to my personal life and the other to my education. Womxn in STEM didn't exist in my family and they didn't exist much in high school. 

So, I created this blog to create a conversation about womxn in STEM because I've seen first hand the lack of promotion, resources, and overall support womxn pursuing STEM receive. I want people to know that we exist & that we matter. STEMinists exist. 

I hope to discuss past & present womxn in STEM, resources, personal stories, advice, and more! 

This blog is for womxn of all ages, those wishing to pursue STEM, those with careers in STEM, and everything in between. ​
